The Castle Players are delighted to present Quartet, Ronald Harwood’s much-loved and beautifully observed play, at Lytchett Matravers Village Hall.

Set in a retirement home for former opera singers, Quartet follows four residents who once enjoyed glittering careers on the world’s great stages. As plans are made to celebrate Verdi’s birthday with a special concert, old rivalries, friendships and long-held emotions resurface – with touching and often very funny results.

Warm, witty and deeply human, Quartet is a celebration of friendship, music and the joy of refusing to grow old quietly. Audiences can expect laughter, poignancy and a truly uplifting evening of theatre.
